Important: These terms describe the intended service model and are not legal advice. The site owner should obtain suitable South African legal review before launch.
1. Acceptance of these terms
By using septictankpretoria.co.za or submitting a request, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not submit personal information through the website.
2. What Septic Tank Pretoria provides
Septic Tank Pretoria is an independent information and lead-referral service. It provides general guidance about septic tank pumping, conservancy tanks, French drains, installation, costs and approval requirements. It may pass a submitted request to an independent septic operator serving Pretoria, Centurion or Midrand.
The site is not a contractor, retailer, manufacturer, regulator, trade association or marketplace of multiple listed operators. It does not itself quote, contract for, perform, supervise, certify or warrant septic, plumbing or installation work.
3. Your relationship with an operator
Submitting the form does not guarantee that an operator will be available, contact you, visit the site, issue a quote or accept work. Septic Tank Pretoria does not guarantee a particular price, timeline, product, result or operator match.
If you choose to engage an operator, the site visit, representations, scope, quote, contract, payment, equipment, workmanship, safety, compliance paperwork, warranty and after-sales support are matters directly between you and that operator.
You must independently confirm credentials, insurance, references, and municipal approval, waste-disposal arrangements and, for installations, the registered plumber’s Certificate of Compliance before work proceeds.
4. Information and pricing guidance
Site content is general information, not plumbing, engineering, legal, insurance or financial advice. Planning ranges are not fixed quotations and may become outdated or differ materially from an operator's quote. Building conditions, regulations, equipment specifications and local availability can change.
We aim to keep information practical and accurate but do not warrant that every page is complete, current or suitable for a particular property. Do not use website content as a substitute for an on-site assessment by appropriately qualified people.
5. Acceptable use and accurate submissions
You agree to provide information you are entitled to share and that is reasonably accurate. Do not use the form for spam, unlawful content, impersonation, automated abuse or requests unrelated to the services described.
You are responsible for checking the final written quote, scope, exclusions, approvals, access arrangements and credentials before authorising work. If you are not the property owner, obtain any landlord, body-corporate or estate approval required.
6. Website content
Unless otherwise stated, the website's original copy, design and structure belong to the site owner. You may use pages for personal decision-making but may not reproduce substantial content commercially or misrepresent it as your own without permission.
Third-party names, standards and manufacturer references remain the property of their respective owners. Factual mention does not imply affiliation or endorsement.
7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by South African law, Septic Tank Pretoria is not responsible for an operator's acts or omissions, work quality, advice, delay, pricing, equipment, damage, injury, regulatory compliance or warranty performance. The site is not responsible for a user's decision to accept or reject a quote.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including rights available under applicable consumer-protection law. Where liability can lawfully be limited, it is limited to the direct and reasonably foreseeable loss caused by the website service itself.
8. Changes, availability and governing law
The website or referral process may change, pause or stop without guaranteeing continuous availability. These terms may be updated; continued use after publication of a revised version means the revised terms apply to later use.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any dispute will be handled by a South African court with jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer dispute process that applies.
9. Contact
Questions about these terms can be raised by calling 060 086 9889.
